The Pasadena Chamber’s Spring Golf Tournament teed-off in early April at Brookside Golf Club. Members and friends enjoyed a morning of golf followed by a hosted cocktail reception and awards ceremony. Jeff        Christoffel of Honda Pasadena won the putting contest. Teammate Corey Nakatani won the longest drive contest. Carl Mendenhall of IUOE, Local 12 was closest to the pin.

The City of Pasadena is designing the first two-way protected bike lane on Union Street between Hill Avenue and Arroyo Parkway. A protected bike lane, also known as a separated bike lane, is an exclusive bikeway facility, physically separated from motor vehicle traffic with barriers such as raised islands, planters, flex posts, or on-street parking. 

Luncheon Alliance on  May 1st sponsored by Foothill Workforce Development Board

May's Luncheon Alliance will be held at the Women's City Club at 160 North Oakland Avenue in Pasadena. (FREE parking is available off Madison Avenue behind the venue.) Sponsor of the May Luncheon Alliance is Joumana Barakat and the Foothill Workforce Development Board.

Pasadena’s restaurant community opens its doors to guests from throughout Southern California for the third Pasadena Restaurant Week. The Pasadena Chamber is sponsoring the event which takes place from Monday, May 6th to Friday, May 10th.
