State of California lifts prohibition of off-site sales of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with food service

Many of Pasadena's restaurants remain open for take-out service. many offer specials to help you eat well during the crisis. Many also now offer to-go alcoholic beverages.

The U.S. and Canada have temporarily closed their borders to non-essential traffic.
Currently there remain two (2) reported cases of Coronavirus infection in Pasadena.
There remain two confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Pasadena. As testing becomes more available and results more quickly analyzed, that number could grow.
In the meantime, everyone who can is encouraged to work from home. Please practice social distancing as much as possible. Please be safe and be healthy.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a negative impact on local businesses. Many are anticipating a significant drop in income over the next few weeks and some are even considering closing temporarily. (Which could also impact their workers' income.)
If you feel at all ill, please stay home. If you can, encourage your employees to work remotely and continue patronizing their favorite businesses.
On March 16, City Manager Steve Mermell proclaimed a Local State of Emergency to empower the City to more effectively respond to the novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19. As the state continues to take aggressive action to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, the City of Pasadena affirms that health and safety measures implemented by the City are intended to meet the following objectives:
The Pasadena Chamber and Holiday Inn Express regret that we are cancelling the March 19, 2020, Pasadena Chamber After Hours Social and Mixer.
The Chamber lunch and learn hosted by Atkinson, Andelson, Ruud and Loya will be postponed until further notice.
So far, Chamber events and activites for April will go on as scheduled.
